Kinesis Earn
KAU/KAGKinesis Earn is a fixed-term yield program rather than a token: you pledge an asset you already hold for three, six or twelve months and are paid in that same asset. Eligible assets include KAU and KAG, which score 90/100 each on the RWTS Trust Score, alongside stablecoins and major digital assets. Kinesis Earn scores 76/100 (Tier 2) on the RWTS Trust Score. The backing is the strongest on the exchange shelf, because it is allocated audited metal rather than an exchange IOU, and two things hold the score down: a pledged position has no market at all, so redeemability is 4/15, and the program launched in 2026, so there is almost no track record to weigh. The yield is funded by platform fee share and bullion arbitrage rather than by lending your metal out.

Beyond KAU/KAG's own score, two structural questions matter: what is it built on, and what has broken before in this part of the market. A high score in isolation can still carry hidden, shared exposure.
What this and similar assets are built on, and where contagion could spread.

Is KAU/KAG safe?
KAU/KAG (Kinesis Earn) scores 76/100 on the independent RWTS Trust Score, which places it in Treasury & Fiat-Backed (Tier 2). Tier 2 is strong: institutional or fiat backing with solid verification, a notch below fully-reserved physical assets. No. Every route runs through the issuer

Kinesis
A pledge is a commitment to Kinesis for a fixed term. Principal returns at maturity and an early exit is possible, but it forfeits that term’s yield, so the exit has a stated price rather than being free.

A pledged position is not a transferable instrument. There is nothing to sell, at any venue, at any depth. This is the cleanest route 0 on the board.
Route 0, right 4. The assets behind Earn are the strongest we rate, and that is a separate question from whether you can leave: for the length of the term, you cannot, except by giving up the yield you pledged for.
This is the redeemability component of the Trust Score above, which stands at 76/100 (B+). Until 1 September 2026 redeemability was a single figure measuring the right to redeem while ignoring how many routes existed to exercise it. Splitting it moved this asset’s score. How the score works
Assessed 2026-09-01. Route independence asks how many ways out the issuer cannot close, not how much the asset trades.
