Liquid Staked ETH
LsETHLiquid Staked ETH (LsETH) is the institutional liquid staking standard run by Liquid Collective, with the development company acquired by Galaxy Digital in December 2025. It is the best-governed and best-audited token in this category and also the hardest one for an ordinary holder to exit. Its validator operator set is fully enumerable on-chain and consists of six named institutions: Figment, Coinbase Cloud, Staked, Blockdaemon, Galaxy and ParaFi. It carries ten smart-contract audits including Certora formal verification in March 2026. LsETH scores 66/100 (Tier 3) on the RWTS Trust Score. The score is capped by redeemability, and the reason is specific rather than theoretical: both minting and redemption revert with Unauthorized at the contract level for any address that has not passed KYC through an approved platform. Transfers are unrestricted, so anyone can buy LsETH on a DEX, but a holder who acquires it that way cannot redeem it at all. Their only exit is the secondary market, where mainnet liquidity runs at roughly half a percent of TVL. Note also that Galaxy now occupies four roles at once: development company, node operator in a six-operator set, OTC market maker and distributor.

Beyond LsETH's own score, two structural questions matter: what is it built on, and what has broken before in this part of the market. A high score in isolation can still carry hidden, shared exposure.
What this and similar assets are built on, and where contagion could spread.
The depegs, defaults, and exploits that inform the Track Record dimension.
